I did find a good recipe for Jell-O shots and proceeded to make several batches of these over the next few days. Monique made her key lime pie and a batch of rice crispy treats too. I will post recipes of the pie and Jell-O shots too.

Poached Eggs Florentine Espanola

Continue to poach the eggs until the desired doneness, timing varies here so be sure to use the slotted spoon and lift one of the first ones out and gently press it with your thumb or forefinger to check. If you like the yolks runny then less time is required, on the other hand if you like your yolks hard then more poaching is required.

A delight indeed, as this recipe will make enough for two servings, and easily adjusted for four or six servings as well. Simple elegance is always a treat and this quickly prepared meal fits both.

Amish Friendship Bread

Parts of the instructions tell you that if you keep a starter for yourself, you will be baking this bread every 10 days. The bread is quite good as Liz gave me a sample before I got my starter bag, and it makes for a great gift too!
