Prepping the Kale

Quite tasty and healthy too, this recipe has no added salt or oil in the preparation, and tastes great also a bed for cooked beans.

On the Eat To Live diet plan you utilize a process of steam saute, which consists of using the natural juices of the vegetable or small amounts of vegetable stock to steam cook the food. Also known as sweating down the vegetables. No oil was harmed in the making of this dish.

2 Cups Onion, diced
3 Stalks Celery, diced
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
1 Tsp Onion powder
1 Tsp Garlic powder
2 Cups Water, filtered
1 1/2 Lb. Kale leaves, cleaned and torn
Procedure Steps
1. Add the onions, celery, and seasonings to the pan and steam saute until soft.
2. Add the water and kale and bring to boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 45 minutes, or until kale is tender.

I will definitely try this Ryan! I’ve been telling my husband about your diet and he is ready to let me feed him (without complaints) so he can feel better!

We use kale all the time. It’s very healthy and very filling, and so easy to prepare. Makes a good side dish with grilled meats. Great recipe.
