Fruit of the vine,
ready for the picking,
will it make a fine wine
ever before it’s time?
Who is to say
where these grapes will play,
in the oak, the bottle, the flute, the goblet
on your lips…
alas…into the abyss.
Thoughts…
Bon appetite!

I am loving this image of the day feature! I have to say thought that when it comes to California grapes – I’m partial to Sonoma 😉

Sara,
Sonoma does have some of the best California wines. I really like Russian River Ranches/Valley.

As I mentioned previously, we have a grapevine that grows above our entire patio – we love sitting underneath it in the summer months.

Kate,
Oh I bet that “arbor” is amazing to sit under, now I want one for my back deck!

Beautiful picture! The sky peeking through the vine and leaves is surreal!

Tiffany,
You know I did not notice the sky that much until you mentioned it. Amazing how it captures the essence of time and space with the blue from above.
