While traveling in Charlotte, NC between the 2022 holidays, we enjoyed a dinner meal at Caroline’s Oyster Bar<\/a> which is located at 120 E. Brooklyn Village Ave, Charlotte, NC 28202, in the heart of downtown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We selected a sampling of every oyster on the raw bar menu which featured oysters from Canada, Virginia, New Jersey, Maine, and North Carolina. The oyster selection from the raw bar included Beausoleil Oysters<\/a> from New Brunswick, Canada, Olde Salts<\/a> Oysters, Chincoteague Bay, Virginia, Blue Point Oysters<\/a> from Norwalk, New Jersey, Orchard Point Oysters<\/a> from Stevensville, Maine, Carolina Gold Oysters<\/a> from Newport, North Carolina, and Barstool Cocktail Oysters<\/a> from Prince Edward Island, Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a nice change getting access to east coast oysters from a diversity of places, an alternate to our generous supply of Gulf Coast oysters we are accustom to here in the deep south. <\/p>\n\n\n
